Now what? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Flash back to 2008. I'm sitting at my desk at an insurance company that offers coverage to nonprofit organizations.

I'm talking with my good friend Byron about how stressed I am as the primary breadwinner for my family of four (mother of a 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son), and an active member of my church with my treasurer duties taking up a TON of my bandwidth.

Byron in his sage wisdom cuts to the chase and asks: "I hear all the things you think you need to be for everyone else. But, what does happiness look like to YOU?"

Whoa. I had never stopped long enough to consider I COULD be happy too.

In my last newsletter, I suggested we make July 2021 our new, New Year. You may have come up with a list of things you want to accomplish by the end of the year.

Now what? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Well, go back and ask yourself, "does this list light me up? Will achieving these things make me happy or is it what's expected of me?"

If your goals don't have the power to create the feelings you most crave, (for example adventure, safety, or connection) you will lose your momentum easily.

So take another look at that New Year list and next week we'll talk about how you can achieve them through money mapping.

Let's do this!
